Thameside Lifting has vacancies for full-time Apprentice Lifting Equipment Technicians based in Grays. The apprenticeships are in partnership with The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and Qualitrain Engineering Academy.
DUTIES
You will learn all aspects of the lifting industry on the job.
Under supervision the successful candidate will service, repair, and test hire equipment.
Along with fully qualified lifting engineers you will attend site for the inspection and certification of customers lifting equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Positive can-do attitude with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
A mechanical aptitude is a distinct advantage.
After a satisfactory probationary period, you will be expected to successfully complete a LEEA Part 1 Entrance Certification.
