On September 7th, the John F Hunt team attended the CN Specialists Awards 2024 and won two incredible awards: Demolition and Enabling Contractor of the Year and Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Excellence.
Being named Demolition and Enabling Contractor of the Year was a true recognition of the dedication and skill we bring to some of the most complex and challenging projects. Our focus on precision, environmental responsibility, and safety allowed us to stand out in this highly competitive category. The projects we work on demand meticulous planning and delivery, and it’s gratifying to see our team’s hard work and high standards recognised on such a prestigious stage.
We were equally proud to receive the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Excellence Award, recognising our proactive approach to creating a safe and healthy working environment. Judges highlighted our initiatives such as behavioural safety programmes, engagement with our teams on the ground, and continuous efforts to encourage a strong safety culture. Keeping our people safe has always been at the heart of what we do!
In addition to these two victories, we were highly commended in two other key categories:
- Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability, which reflects our continuous drive to embed sustainable practices across all our projects, minimising environmental impact whilst delivering exceptional results.
- Project of the Year: Over £5m for our work on The Other House, a complex project that presented numerous challenges, yet we were able to deliver outstanding results through innovation and collaboration.
This year’s recognition truly highlights the dedication, innovation, and excellence that our team at John F Hunt brings to every project. To be acknowledged alongside such impressive competition only reinforces our belief that we are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in construction.
