John F Hunt Power, part of the John F Hunt Group, is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Superbike rider Benjamin Currie. The 24-year-old Australian rider has joined up with the Quattro Plant JG Speedfit Kawasaki team to make his debut in BSB (Bennetts British Superbike Championship).
David Hunt, John F Hunt Power’s Managing Director says: “John F Hunt are very proud to announce this new deal to sponsor Ben for the remainder of this season and into 2020. His hard work and dedication to the Bennett’s British Superbike competition are admirable and we feel he will be a great ambassador for the John F Hunt Group. We are proud to join his team of sponsors and wish him every success”.
Ben started his career in Motocross but soon ended up swapping the dirt for the tarmac. His performance in the Australian Superstock 600 showcased his talents and in 2013, he moved to the UK to develop his career. After five years of success competing across Superstock 600 and Supersport categories, he now finds himself prepared to compete in his debut season in the premier class.
“I’m over the moon to create a partnership with David and the whole John F Hunt Group”, Ben states. “I’m looking forward to showcasing the company on such a big stage as BSB and building this relationship long into the future. Can’t thank the team enough for all their support!”
Ben will be competing at Knockhill in Scotland this weekend (28th – 30th June) in his first race sponsored by John F Hunt.
We wish him every success for the weekend and for the rest of the season.
