The award nominations keep rolling in! We proudly announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Best ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Practices Award at this year’s Considerate Constructors Gala. This nomination highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible governance.
At Ebury Bridge Estate, under the leadership of Mike Weller, our Project Manager, we have implemented innovative ESG initiatives demonstrating our dedication to environmental and social responsibility. A key initiative has been the reuse of salvaged materials from the site, including 100-year-old roof truss timbers donated to the Energy Garden project. These timbers have been creatively repurposed for building garden furniture, planters, and sustainable energy installations.
We’ve also contributed over 150 hours of labour and materials, such as glass panels, furniture, and soil, to help develop an outdoor educational space for the local community.
This space, created in partnership with Energy Garden, will serve as an academic hub for local youth, teaching them about sustainability, energy generation, and horticulture. Our efforts to support this initiative have allowed us to make a tangible, positive impact on the Westminster community.
This project is a prime example of how we’re turning sustainability into action – reducing waste, giving back to the community, and supporting educational initiatives. We’re excited to celebrate this achievement with over 400 industry leaders at the Gala, hosted by the entertaining comedian Troy Hawke. Early Bird tickets are now available, so take advantage of what promises to be an inspiring and unforgettable evening!
Stay tuned for updates as the event approaches, and wish us luck as we aim to bring home the award!
