We are pleased to announce that the City of London has rewarded our Demolition division with the prestigious considerate Contractors Gold Award for their performance on the project at 5 Broadgate.
The Gold Award recognises that the Code of Good Practice has consistently been exceeded throughout the life of the project. It reflects a spirit of price, an awareness of the needs of the passing public and regard for the surrounding environment.
The Considerate Contractor Scheme’s objective is to encourage operations on site to be carried out in a safe and considerate way with due care and attention to pedestrians and road users.
Through joining this scheme members agree to abide by the Code of Good Practice. These standards are set above the legal minimum requirement therefore ensures work conditions and the safety of London’s streets are at the highest levels. Projects such as 5 Broadgate are judged annually by the dedicated panel through regular monitoring and public feedback with a final decision on the allocation of the award decided at a later date.
The Right Honourable Lord Mayor, Alderman Roger Gifford presented this renown award to our contracts director and project manager at Mansion House. We would like to thank all those involved on this project for their continued efforts which allowed us to achieve this award.
