Position: Embroiderer/Branding Assistant – Permanent
Location: Thurrock RM20 4DB
Due to continued growth Thameside Supplies Ltd, a leading provider of branded corporate clothing & supplier of PPE & Workwear are looking for an Embroiderer/Branding Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s embroidery/print machine experience, have excellent communication skills, be highly organised with impeccable attention to detail. If no relevant experience, training can be provided for the right candidate.
Candidates must be educated to a minimum of GCSE level, including Maths and English at grade C or 4 and above. You will have a confident can-do attitude, be flexible with the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining the embroidery machines along with:
- Checking job sheets for relevant information including, logos, sizes, products.
- Ability to correctly read a job sheet.
- Loading templates on the computer systems.
- Selecting Garment and framing material ready for embroidering.
- Setting the embroidery machine to the correct functions and loading with the correct colour threads.
- Tearing away backing, folding, bagging, and packing garments.
- Maintenance of equipment including replacing needles, cleaning, and oiling machinery & re-ordering thread to maintain correct stock levels.
- Safe and efficient operation of print machines (training provided).
- Undertaking any other appropriate duties as required.
