BD Nuclear announced the acquisition of Holemaster’s, Demtech operation at the Energy Coast Business Park, Egremont, Cumbria at the beginning of June this year.
They continue to offer clients within Sellafield the services previously provided, as well as the additional capabilities and specialities which BD Nuclear and the wider John F Hunt Group can offer.
Both parties worked closely on this arrangement to ensure the smooth transition of services, and all current staff at the Cumbria depot will remain under BD Nuclear, ensuring the high level of skill and experience from this qualified team will continue.
In addition and to bolster the Cumbrian operation the Group invested to provide 8 new vehicles, a range of new Drilling and Sawing equipment, corporate branding for the workforce and a completely new IT system.
