Marc Alay and Andreas Bilianos from the John F Hunt Ltd team at Liverpool Street carried out an inspiring careers assembly on the 5th of May for the children at Prior Weston Primary School in East London.
Topics included site safety, equipment, how to keep the community safe from demolition works and examples of engineering marvels. We also donated programmable LEGO kits to be used by the children as a learning platform and some engineering goodies!
The presentations aim was to promote and raise awareness of demolition and construction, as well as inspire the younger generation to consider a profession in the construction industry…as you can read from the following staff feedback, they sure did just that!
“Your preparation was meticulous; your delivery was perfectly pitched and highly engaging…whilst I’ve appreciated introducing numerous careers assemblies, this one really was outstanding! You have contributed fantastically to our work raising children’s aspirations. Thank you for being so warm, approachable, and accommodating of the children’s varying needs…
The resources you donated were not expected and are so gratefully received – we are just blown away by John F Hunt’s generosity and thoughtfulness towards us! Thank you so much.”
Well done on such a fantastic job Marc and Andreas!
