DEMOLITION has got a busy year ahead!
Below are just a few of the secured projects they have in London and the South East going forward this year…
Queens Square, Croydon – a major asbestos removal and demolition project on behalf of R&F Properties at their Queens Square mixed use scheme in the heart of Croydon. The scheme comprises the demolition of 4 commercial blocks and associated ground clearance with a value of circa £9m due for completion Q3 this year.
Swiss Cottage – the demolition of the existing buildings above Swiss Cottage underground station on behalf of Essential Living. The works commenced this month, running into Q3 and are valued at circa £1.5m.
50 Eastbourne Terrace – demolition on behalf of the developer YardNine, has commenced, with a project value of circa £2.5m including the underpinning, sheet piling and enabling works.
Lance Wimble has joined the business as Civils Operations Manager to assist in the continued development of the civils side of the business, which has grown immeasurably in the last few years. A new Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Anna Lapkiewicz has also joined the team…welcome!
In terms of safety, performance last year was very good, with no JFH RIDDOR’s, 1 supply chain RIDDOR, 1 LTA (3 days) nd 9 minor injuries across the 17 major projects that Demolition worked on, which is a performance they should be very proud of.
