John F Hunt Power is delighted to announce the opening of our new Midlands depot; we have moved our operation from its original location in Oldbury to a new larger and more equipped facility in Halesowen. Over the past 8 years we have provided a high standard of temporary power solutions across Birmingham, the Midlands and surrounding areas, controlled and managed by our highly skilled team of operational, engineering and sales staff.
The new depot will provide our clients with exceptional quality and service in all areas, whether they are looking for a generator for hire or a fully synchronized multi megawatt package. The new depot is situated on a 3 ¾ acre site in the Hurst Green area of Halesowen, which is 3 ½ miles from Junction 3 of the M5 and 2 miles from Junction 2 of the M5.
It is 3 times larger than our previous location allowing for a hire office and desk, meeting facilities, workshops and generator yard. The yard itself is organised on a one way system from booking the equipment back in, checking and servicing, to placing the kit in the “ready for hire” area of the yard. This ensures that when equipment is returned, it is quickly made ready for hire again.
The depot has a generator and electrical workshop; this provides the engineers with a clean and dry environment to service and repair equipment, along with a test bay and storage area for our large electrical distribution fleet. The depot has 14 service bays around the perimeter with a hard standing area in the middle to store our ever growing fleet.
We have the space to store a large variety of generators, electrical equipment and lighting towers for hire including the larger range of 500kVA, 1000kVA & 1250kVA units, tanks and cables. As with all our depots we have the basics too, including a wash down area, vehicle and lorry parking, plus a dedicated quarantine facility for any investigation work that may be required.
Halesowen is a move forward for John F Hunt Power; we are constantly improving our facilities and services and working on our environmental, health & safety and quality procedures in accordance with our ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 accreditations.
